Takk for svar

Platekompaniet pushet nye tilbud i dag og Headshellet du anbefaler, som lĂ„ i handlekurven, var ikke rabattert ei eneste krone.......Youâre only given a little spark of madness. You mustnât lose it. - Robin Williams
Use these screws!
Tusen takk for gratulasjoner!
Takker. Handlet via FB Messenger. Proper gentlemanâs agreement.
What is a RigB? #WhatIsARigB
The RigB is a solid metal body/mount for (certain) Moving Magnet cartridges.
The name âRigBâ sums up what it is: A Rigid Body. (pronounced âRigbyâ as in âEleanor Rigbyâ the Beatles Song..)
In mounting the cartridge generator to your arm or headshell; a stable, rigid, non-resonating body is what is needed. For cartridge manufacturers with costs and economics on its mind, a body/mount made of injection moulded plastic is the low-cost way to go. Those who want the best can now choose a RigB and exchange the plastic body for much better one.
The RigB is a precision CNC machined piece of Heat treated T6 Aluminium (machined from billet). It has been designed and made to securely cradle the generator in its protective canister and support it with exactly the same geometry as the original plastic body.
By making a CNC machined alloy body, we have enhanced the stability of the generator which is a technique normally used only in very high end MM cartridges. Since any lost movement is recorded information unretrieved, the RigB allows more of what was in the groove to be relayed up the chain.
As the guys behind the RigB; we (Simon Clark and Gary Hargreaves) absolutely love Audio Technica products and have designed and made the first RigBs to fit well known AT models of MM cartridge.
There are currently three RigB models:
RigB 91: This fits the AT91, 91R and 3600L models (and also the Rega Carbon which is a rebadged 3600L)
RigB 500: This fits the AT VM500/700 range (and also many older models such as the 440MLb and 120E)
RigB 95: This fits the latest VM95 range (and also the older AT95E generator)
The idea of a well-made body for a cartridge is nothing special, all (or at least most) cartridge manufacturers give their top models a similar treatment. The RigB allows anyone to get the best from their own cartridge.
Fitting a RigB
Fitting is fairly straightforward and involves removing the small screw that secures the generator canister to the body (on some models this screw is concealed under a label and this needs to be removed first). Then the plastic body is removed and the generator can fitted into the RigB (it is a snug fit). A tiny amount of a bonding agent (eg Loctite 638) is used to make the joint secure. (a sufficient amount is included in the kit when purchased for DIY assembly).
For those who donât wish to do it themselves, fitting to your own cartridge (or a newly supplied one) is available from Gary & Simon at no further charge)
Godt, og trist, poeng. SjÞlv greier eg ikkje hÞyra noko (dvs rein sinus) over 13 kHz, men eg har berre testa sjÞlv, ikkje medisinsk.FlÞyel oppover, men hÞrselen min brÄstopper pÄ 11k5 Hz, sÄ evt. peak der nÄr neppe fram.
