After years spent grinding their way through the 1990s indie circuit, ultimately it took just 21 minutes for Columbus, Ohio's Gaunt to prove themselves masters of melodic punk. Previous Gaunt releases SOB STORY and I CAN SEE YOUR MOM FROM HERE showcased their undeniable punk power, as well as their reputation as one of the angriest and most dysfunctional bands on the scene. But YEAH, ME TOO, which touted the addition of drumming phenomenon Sam Brown, is largely regarded by fans as the band's landmark release. Shortly after its release, Gaunt, drawing favorable critical comparisons to the Damned and the Buzzcocks, were courted by a flurry of major labels.
