Og hvordan låt dette oppsettet? - helt eksepsjonelt bra, klart den beste på messa.
Pga pengeproblemer måtte jeg selge mitt forrige FMA oppsett, de problemene er historie, og jeg har tenkt å kjøpe et nytt FMA system igjen - 268+1811+XS-1.Vedlegg

Dette er en håpløs produsent å ha med å gjøre. De svarer ikke på e-post. De har ingen distributør i Norden og den nærmeste jeg kunne finne var i Hellas. Når jeg kontakter den greske distributøren får ikke de lov å selge eller gjøre business med meg av FM Acoustics. Når den greske distributøren velvillig allikevel kontakter FM Acoustics for å få de til å kontakte meg lover de det, men gjør det aldri. De har lovet dette fire ganger nå uten at noe skjer.
Mulig man må reise nedover til Asia for å skaffe noe fra denne produsenten.

Your local distributor says that the earliest possible delivery for an order for an FM 222 phono stage is October 2010. Is this really so and if so why? Is there a way of getting quicker delivery? I am willing to pay a bit more if I can get it faster.
A:
FM ACOUSTICS order influx is continuing unabated. It provides stability but it also brings challenges for us: our way of crafting a unit is very different so it is not possible to "ramp up" production like others can do. The actual delivery situation changes with order influx and production schedules. While we are backordered with some models, several products are available within a few weeks (and not "years" like some claim on the web...).
Some specific units have a waiting list until summer 2011. Production is fully booked until 2012.
On these products patience is needed - which most of our clients are willingly providing. They will reap the rewards.
For fourteen years, FM ACOUSTICS has operated at 100% of capacity. As each unit is fully hand-crafted it is impossible to just "crank up" production.
Elaborate methods using time consuming and complex selection and calibration processes are used by crafts-men and crafs-women, most of whom have been with FM ACOUSTICS for many many years. It is not possible to just hire additional personnel and rapidly increase production. Hundreds of small details need special knowledge and attention. Even experienced senior personnel needs a year or two before they understand FM ACOUSTICS standards and start to be productive.
This may sound overstated but it is a fact that only those who have intensive "hands-on" experience of the production methods at FM ACOUSTICS understand how time consuming and demanding the crafting of a unit actually is.

Due to high order influx and the extensive production times the following products continue to be subjected to a country-specific quota:

Jeg antar at FM Acoustics er litt selektive i forhold til hvem de svarer og hvor raskt. Når jeg tok kontakt med distributøren i Hong Kong i stedet for direkte kontakt eller kontakt gjennom den greske distributøren kom svarene fra FMA umiddelbart.
Jeg har nå fått et tilbud på en ny 268 med kun 6 ukers leveringstid (som jo er kortere enn de fleste andre).

De er veldig travle siden det er bare 12 ansatte, og ja ordrebøkene er smekkfulle i lang tid fremover - så du var heldig å få en 268 ganske så kjapt.
Ja det største markedet til FMA er helt klart Østen - HK, Taiwan og Korea.På KLIAV i Malaysia
The system on demo yesterday featuring Audio Note's top-range CDT5 CD transport and Audio Note DAC5 Signature, FM 268 Line Stage, two pairs of the FM 111 monoblocks with speaker cables and interconnects from FM Acoustics, sounded very true to life and just right.
There were a few other systems that sounded impressive by being extremely clear and clean but the FM Acoustics, undoubtedly aided by the Audio Note CD transport and DAC, sounded more organic even though the images were not as hyper etched out as a few other high-end systems. It also had the tendency to make the listener tap his feet to the rhythm of the music.
The other super systems sounded like expensive, high-end high-quality hi-fi equipment; the Audio Note/FM Acoustics/Avantgarde set-up made me feel as if I were in the audience listening to a live show.
Frankly I thought having two pairs of the FM111 monoblocks was overkill - one pair would have been more than sufficient given that the Avantgarde speakers are extremely sensitive - around 104dB.
The speakers are highly revealing too, especially on the upper-mids and treble and a lesser solid-state amplifier would have made it sound bright, shrill and piercing - just like what the valve amps did in the previous AV show, which was peculiar since valves normally sound warm and pleasant. The FM Acoustics did what the valve amps failed to do - tame the Avantgarde speakers.RRoysen

Mulig jeg var uklar her. Jeg har ikke bestilt ennå. Jeg har imidlertid funnet en forhandler som er villig til å gjøre business med meg og denne forhandleren har ikke så lang leveringstid som jeg fryktet på det produktet jeg ønsker.wizard skrev:
