KECES DA-151, USB DAC

Our DA-151 allows your computer to output high quality analog audio that surpasses anything in its price range, and gives costlier competitors a very good run for the money. The main objective in our tuning includes:
Neutral sound signature, it will sound good with almost any music. We prefer to have our product to fit your listening preference, not the other way around.
Open sound stages, we feel that it is essential to have a good sound stage that is not congested nor something so unnaturally big that makes the music sound strange.
Good instrument imaging, with a proper setup, you can feel the veil lifting and virtually hear each instrument and where they come from.
Detail and resolution, veiling in sound is just as annoying to our ears as unfocused image is to our eyes. Good amount of detail only adds to the enjoyment of music.
Most importantly, we designed DA-151 to be EASY TO LISTEN to, it is in our belief that one should be able to listen to music and relax, not to mentioning non-fatiguing. After all, who wouldn't like to enjoy music for hours on end if they do have the time to do so?
purpose of the revision (well, we gotta give ourselves a good reason for doing something, don't we?) is to update the styling to on par with DA-131. We can safely say that of the people we asked, more than 70% prefer the newer styling to the older USB DAC.
Styling aside, we feel that it is about time to implement more goodies to our new DA-151.
Independent oscillator, DAC no longer have to generate its own clock, thus reducing internal noises and jitter.
Fully isolated oscillator power, preventing noise from being dumped into DAC's power supply. (not possible if you use DAC + crystal to generate its own clock)
National's new LME49710 OP-Amp (Replacing OPA604AP), a stellar choice for performance. We have not seen anything in the price range, or 10 times the price to perform much better than what this puppy can do, nuff said.
Some other enhancements that are helping the DAC to perform better.
Dimension: 215 ×205 ×80mm (W*L*H)
While it also retain original USB DAC's great features:
High Quality transformer, specially treated and wound to provide clean power with high efficiency.
Fully independent power regulation for DAC's Analog and Digital circuit, as well as an additional high performance regulator setup for the OP-Amps.
High quality audiophile and military parts, you can see many boutique parts that a lot of the mod shop love to use for their audio mods. We install them in your DA-151 as factory standard setup.
High quality gold plated/teflon insulated RCA connectors with silver plated copper wires (teflon insulated again).
High performance PCM2702 USB DAC from BurrBrown.
The result we got is fully in line with what we had expected and plus a little more.
Sound staging and the location of the instruments now sounded much better, bigger sound stage with more precise location of instruments can now be easily heard.
More transparent, increased detail and clarity, we are not talking about just a little increase, this improves the performance a fair bit from the original USB DAC
The general feel is that it is now less laid back and even more neutral sounding.
The original USB DAC already sounds great, and now DA-151 just make it sound quite a bit better than the original.
Installation? This could not be easier with USB DAC, just plug into an USB capable computer (Mac OSX/WINDOWS 2000/XP/Vista, or a recent version of Linux) and it will be instantly recognized and used. Virtually no effort is required!
