Aerosmith Rocks SACD [Columbia CS 57363] with outer slip case. Rarest hi-rez disc ever, bar none. Never before officially released on SACD or DVD-Audio, even in Japan. This copy -- the only one ever offered on eBay -- was unsealed solely to ensure disc was a Super Audio CD. Indeed, this non-hybrid, single layer stereo SACD plays hi-rez. AUDIOPHILE FORMAT WILL NOT PLAY ON STANDARD CD PLAYERS. Small drill hole through jewel case and tray insert on back, otherwise mint-minus condition. Played a handful of times, never left laying around in the sun. Kept in smoke-free home and safe-deposit box.

I do not think it hyperbolic to say that in the world of hi-fi collectables it doesn't get much bigger than Aerosmith ROCKS on SACD. When I brought my discovery to the attention of an audiophile online forum a few years ago, I did not believe it was truly rare -- something no one else had. Alas, four years have passed and there have been 0 eBay auctions for this title, no listings anywhere. The pictures don't lie -- this disc is real and for sale at last. Time to part with a most prized collectable. Time to let someone else enjoy Aerosmith ROCKS on SACD.
