The person who did the review was Jon Myles. Nice guy. He told me he would have given five stars, except he thought there was excessive top end. Had a customer made this comment, we would have altered it for him, whatever this took. We have never had an unhappy customer. He asked us to do a fix and has reviewed it again. He is now making comments like “magical” and “holographic” . He has written a second review and will submit it. Whether this will be accepted by the editor, Noel, I am not sure, but I may get a private copy. In fact this whole incident led us to introduce the adjustable HF. Personal taste and need vary.
You will see an extra pair of terminals at the top. Connecting these together will boost the HF. Most people won’t need it, but for rooms with high sound absorption, or for a listener beginning to lose high frequency hearing with age it will help. It may also be a choice if listening at very low volumes. In other words, a useful option to have available.
