Dag Fornæss (born June 30, 1948 in Hamar) is a former Norwegian speed skater.
His international breakthrough was in 1969, when he won the Norwegian Championship,
the European Speed Skating Championships and the World Allround Speed Skating Championships.
He was also European champion in 1971. Fornæss participated in his last international event in the
1972 Winter Olympic Games, after which he ended his skating career.

Fornæss received the Oscar Mathisen Award in 1969.
