Chorus DS - feil link i Fidelity

I Fidelity nr 46 skriver Kurt Lassen om Chorus DS. En klient for Mac som styrer mediespillere fra Linn. Den er gratis. Finnes en versjon for Mac OS X 10.5.x som er tilgjengelig for alle. I tillegg har Sean Harding (utvikleren) på gang versjoner for iPhone og iPad, men som per nå kun er tilgjengelige for autoriserte testere.

Hi Sean

I read about your software in the latest edition of 'Fidelity', the scandinavian high end magazine.

I am now running your Chorus DS 1.1. b1 on my Mac with OS X 10.5.8. I've got a Linn Sneaky DS and Asset UPnP ver. 2.1.4 running on a Windows Home Server. To make it short, it works without any major flaws. It's a delight to use, and it is far better than my previous experience with software on my PC to control the Sneaky. I've got both Kinsky Desktop and Twonky.

The only part of the software I can see not working as expected, is the time line indicator below the navigation buttons. It shows 00:00 --------- 00:00 all the time, and the indicator jumps back and forth.

What I miss is the ability to play songs by random from a category. Example: I would like to select Genre | Blues and then hit the random button.

I look forward to run Chorus DS on my iPod Touch. From before I've got Songbook, but it does not always work properly.

Ifølge Sean Harding har jeg for gammel versjon av Cara. Derfor virker ikke tidslinjen. Det står forøvrig å lese på hjemmesidene: "The current version is design for and tested against Cara 6 (3.6.9) Twonky 5.1.3 and Asset and of course the ChorusDS server." :-[

Finnes på AppStore, anbefales varmt, stort sett det eneste jeg bruker..
