Pris for denne inn til Norge er rett i overkant av 18000,- Helt nydelig lyd fra denne. Jeg var var faktisk i tvil om jeg skulle velge denne eller min IKEDA IST-201 til 46000,-.! Valget falt på IKEDA da jeg spiller på IKEDA pickup.
Jeg mener dette er en helt fantastisk god MC Step-up. Dette støttes av anmeldere og brukere. Listen over trafoer jeg har eid begynner å bli ganske lang, IKEDA, Stevens & Billington, Hashimoto, Partridge, Cinemag, Bob`s Devices, Fonolab, Denon, Allnic (innebygd). Wall (Innebygd), Tamura…. Det er kun IKEDA som kan måle seg med denne hos meg.
1:20 gir 26db forsterkning og 118 ohm inn i et standard 47k MM trinn. Denne vil matche en lang rekke MC pickuper. Null problemer med brum fra denne da den er ekstremt godt skjermet.
For de som ikke vet hva en SUT er… den brukes til å forsterke signalet fra MC-pickuper med lavt utgangssignal, slik at man da kan koble de rett inn i MM inngangen på forsterkeren eller RIAAen. Resultatet blir ofte langt bedre enn aktiv MC-forsterkning. Jeg vil absolutt anbefale alle en test av SUT i anlegget. Jeg kommer selv aldri til å benytte meg av aktiv forsterkning av MC-pickuper igjen.

Complete isolation of transformer and optimization for low impedance
Completely separate structure: The step-up transformer, which is normally housed in one case, is completely separated and enclosed in two aluminum alloy machined block cases. Interference between channels is completely eliminated, increasing the purity of the sound.
Thorough elimination of micro vibrations: The inside of the case is impregnated with high-strength epoxy resin. The transformer unit is free from minute vibrations, making it possible to pick up even the smallest signals from the MC cartridge.
