Ettertraktet første versjon av "Aja".
To uker etter at platen kom i butikkene endret ABC-records katalognummeret til AA-1006, fra AB-1006. De tre første pressingene av "Aja" er AB; AAB; AA, der konsensus er at de første AB-pressingene er best.
Plateselskapet satt med noen AB-pressinger da man bestemte å øke prisen på "Aja". AB var for plater som kostet USD 7,98 dengang. Derfor finnes det en del AB-pressinger som kom i AA-cover, og dette er en slik hybrid, med AB-label og matrix, samt AB på glossy innercover, mens gatefold er AA-1006.

First pressings have catalog # AB-1006. "AB" prefix in catalog # was an ABC label price code, and approximately two weeks after the release of the album, the price was raised $1.00 and subsequent pressings were catalog # AA-1006.
The second pressing had AB in the matrix, with the B scratched out and substituted with an A. The third pressing had AA in the matrix.
