Den ble kjøpt ny av meg i mai 2021, fortsatt under et år gammel. Det er en r2r dac med siemens c3m rør.
Det er selvfølgelig mulig å komme å se produktet.
Jeg selger også en ypsilon pre-amp. Det er mulig med en pakkepris ved kjøp av begge komponentene.

Om tilkoblingsmuligheter og forskjeller fra deres tidligere dac 100.
You can connect your server with bnc to play PCM files and leave the coax to connect a transport if you wish. If you have DSD files in your server you can play them natively through usb input so you should have the server connected with usb also. When you have the bnc input selected in the DAC playing pcm and then you play a dsd file the DAC recognizes that and switches automatically to usb input to play the dsd file. When you go back to pcm it switches back to previous selected input.
I2s through hdmi is a high quality connection also. There are some sources that have a compatible output . There is also a pcie card that can plug into any motherboard and outputs I2s with hdmi. It's better sounding than the stock usb output on the motherboard. A usb connection however using a pcie sotm card is equally good sounding though. If your server has a conditioned SPDIF output ,this should be at least equally good with the above options.
The dac1000 has an R2R d/a converter with selected discrete resistors. So there is no DAC chip from the market for PCM data. This is the upgrade basically.
In the dac100 we were using the last and best DAC chip ever produced, the pcm1704. It's obsolete since many years now. Great sounding but cannot match the discrete R2R .
The tube in the dac1000 is the C3m. In the dac100 was the C3g. Similar sounding tubes, they just have different gain.
The dac1000 is optimized basically to be used with music servers. The dac100 was optimized with our cd player .
