This is not the perfect but an excellent Jazz collection. The albums are all originals, the sound quality is very good and the selection of recordings in addition to being representative of various periods of recorded jazz, includes, in my opinion, some of the best albums of jazz history. Aware that much was left out, I believe, however, that for those who want to start a jazz record collection or simply do an upgrade, this box is the ideal and the price could not be better.

Bought it yesterday and without a doubt the best buy this year. I have to add that this box , and new, only made a hole of 39,95 euro in my pocket. Contents is clean with hard-lp-sleeve like covers and booklet with info on all the cd's. Half of the cd's get a 5 AMG-rating, the others don't go down 4.
The cd's are discrete numbered at the side and follow a logic pattern.

Jeg håper det kommer tilsvarende bokser også i andre sjangre enn jazz og klassisk.

Er det noen forumbrukere som kjenner til andre bokser i denne serien fra Sony Music, eller tilsvarende bokser fra andre plateselskaper i en eller annen sjanger (jeg liker ganske mye forskjellig)?

Super jazzboks for de som ønsker en introduksjon til jazzen.

Tror det er noen bra remastringer også. Legendariske "concert by the sea" med Errol Garner, som på cd låter som to kaniner som kn****r i en blikkboks, låt faktisk helt kurant.

Klassiskboksen kan også anbefales. Mange fine innspillinger som jeg hadde glemt. Bl. a. en spinnvill innspilling av fire årstider.

Bestilte fra Amazom akkurat nå og de har bare 5-6 igjen. Takker for flott tips. Bare å vente på postmann nå 8)

Bestilt! Perfekt for meg som fersking som har blitt hektet på gammel jazz! Har et par av platene på vinyl, men til den prisen gjør det ikke noe med dubletter. Greit å få de rippet inn på pc også.
